MICHAEL HAWARD

At age 3, Micheal became ill with Meningitis, this resulted in a total hearing loss in his right ear and 85% loss in his left ear. As he grew older this opened his mind to exploring anything needed for helping people with hearing issues, not just hearing aids but the whole package of everyday life.

Micheal has been working within audiology since 1980, gaining experience in his early years from two major hearing aid manufacturers. Starting in Scotland with just hearing aids then moving to Crawley for audiometric equipment and hearing aids.

Micheal then became a qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser in 1988. He wanted to offer an independent and professional service for everyone. He felt, and continues to be passionate about, offering individual choices based on the individual loss, what sort of hearing aid was best and importantly the ability of the person handling the aid. Considering, not just hearing in general but how the aid would function to make everyday tasks such as using a telephone or watching tv easier.

During his audiology journey, Micheal has developed substantial knowledge and experience on not only just hearing aids and accessories but hearing protection as a whole. Providing a specialised service for industry, farming, shooting, music and motorsport, designed to keep hearing healthy.
